CELTIC WOMAN

Sorry everyone I have been pretty busy lately and haven't had any time to do anything!

The other day my partner and I went to Melbourne to watch Celtic Woman perform, They of course were amazing especially.

For those who don't know Celtic Woman are an all female Irish band who sing classical and new songs, with beautiful angelic voices.

We got to meet the girls after wards and were absolutely beautiful both inside and out.
My favorite performance was by the talented Chloe Agnew who sang When you Believe, which was so heart warming and emotional, if you haven't heard it, you must youtube it!

Thank you girls for a wonderful night and I can't wait to see you in America and the UK.

Time Flies

Okay so I am very sorry I haven't blogged for a couple a months but I promise I have been very very busy!
So I will give a quick overall of what has been happening.

Okay so I have had my uni exams which I got HD for so I guess all that studying payed off. I celebrated my 4th anniversary with my boy and celebrated a birthday and got addicted to Journals and journal writing and of-course MASTER CHEF, which has inspired me to want to cook.

Alice in Japan Part 2

So this is a following of Alice in Japan Part 1.
So after watching Alice In Wonderland It was time for dinner. Usually when going out for dinner and a movie we end up having Japanese cuisine for dinner. A mix of Sushi, Sashimi and Sake.
In Sydney resturants and there must be over 60 Japanese and Im guessing I have eaten at atleast 40 of them.
So my fiancee (JON) and I decided to try a new Japanese restaurant call Muzaki ( located in George st Sydney).

This restaurant is so traditional with creative wall art and tiny booths which you sit and then can order off a computer which is great. However whilst your ordering there is advertising of Karaoke Booths. That's right this restaurant also holds karaoke rooms. I haven't been to karaoke but I am considering it for my birthday.

This is a photograph of one of many cherry Blossom trees which a little fairy lights located around the Japanese Resturant. I really enjoyed my dinner and recommended this resturant if you LOVE Japanese cuisine.

ys of my holidays just sleeping and eating and then the real fun began yesterday.
My manager gave me movie tickets for an Easter present so I decided to put them to good use and take my fiancee out and watch a movie.

I decided to be nice and let him choose a movie as I am always the one who wants to pick. So were at George st Cinema ( Sydney) looking at the time table when he decides on us watching Alice in Wonderland.

At first I was shocked as he normally wants to watch a chick flick.
I didn't mind this movie I thought it was going to be a massive disappointment.
However with great special effects wonderful colors and costumes.
I must give this movie a 3.5 out of 5

Assignments

Okays so my assignment is due Thursday and I really have left it to last minute to start and complete it. It's funny I know how serious it is for me to get great marks and make sure my referencing but there are so many distractions.

I tried taking them away including buying a new computer and not installing an internet connection but instead I became interested in what display background I should have.

Next I tried making my fiancee hide my mobile phone so i didnt have to make or answer calles, instead everyone started calling his mobile wanting to talk to me.

I decided enough was enough I really need to get this assignment done and decided to leave all the distractions in front of me which I would soon get bored of, which it did all my distractions fell like dominoes

Good bye Facebook, Good- Bye iphone, Good-Bye T.V but Hello stationary.

I have now grown an interest in stationary anything from colored pens like pastel colors which I have no need for to scented erasers which I will never use because I use pens. So with my addiction turned into many hours wasted researching stationary stores like Kikki K and Smiggle e.t.c.

Did you know how many different types of pens there are?? Answer TOOOOO many!

So now its early Wednesday morning and in just over 24 hours my assignment is due so wish me luck.

A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS (SUMMER)

Now that is defiantly becoming into the colder months it's time to say good bye to my summer essentials :(
So here I go:

Just a quick listing:

Headbands: I know I can still wear them in winter but I just loved the metallic colours at a beach party
Sunglasses: not only stylish but also protective
Camera: this summer I upgraded and received a new camera for my birthday so bye bye to my old blue camera.
Make up: I loved using the fresh colors and found myself addicted to blush
Bracelets: Again i just upgraded and just brought some more warmer colored ones.
Belt: looked hot with floral skirts and peasant dresses.
Clutches: Easy to use on my birthday and NYE and had fun trying to much with outfits and shoes.

When it comes to make up most people say less is more but is it really?
Okay so in summer some moisteriser, foundation bluch and mascara are a must have and most people look great but when you have an upcoming occasion e.g. wedding or a 21st birthday is less still more when preparing your face for heaps of photographs, will a simple make up really suit your face and outfit or will a great master piece of colours and definition make a bazzaazz entrance?

So it's the 13th week of 2010, What are my plans for this week???

Firstly: I need to hurry up and finish my assignment which is due on Thursday!!

Next: I need to start and finish my next blog on Make- up and tips which I'm excited about and excited about researching woohoo

Last: I need some serious relaxation time which will be focusing of looking at Blogs. IM EXCITED

Hello everyone it is currently Thursday at 3:34 am and i should be studying or in bed but I find myself once again drawn to the new world of Blogging.

Welcome Back Sorry everyone for the lack of posts for last week I have had to live without the internet! AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in the middle of researching my Business Law assignment when my internet was running slow, I was thinking thats alright it must be a bad connection or something becuase the weather was pretty bad. So I waited patiently as I reloaded facebook .... I mean wikipedia lol. After 5 minutes I knew what just happened my beloved internet had just capped. What was I going to do??? I had another 9 days until my internet recapped. I found myself very bored and depressed as my ownly means of communication had died. I found myself actually playing with my iphone and looking at it very bored as I couldnt even use the Internet on my phone either as I had no credit. For those nine days I wasn't able to email or even lol at someone's stupid status or even research my assignment, So I turned to my old friend, my T.V. where I became addicted to watching episode after episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Seasons flew past as a new day of Internet was over so was 10 episodes of the funny and realistic lives of 5 friends in New York become a Dream of mine to acheive and One day concur. Then I realised I do have friends but they seemed a world away without the Internet. So it was 3 days left until I had the internet left. I know life is about enjoying the little things and taking time out to enjoy the outside world, but it was cold and raining and I would have much preferred to look at How I Met Your Mother quotes or order some new clothes. But I just had to watch tv, which with bad weather comes bad reception so I was left with the boring T.V shows like The Martha Stewart Show and House. Time was slowing passing until it hit the day where my INTERNET was born again. I finally could reply to my 17 emails, reply to my 39 notfications on facebook and comment on my friends photos. So next time when your internet caps I think it would be a smart idea to buy a wireless connection just incase of emergencies Thanks

First Week Of Uni

So this is my second year of uni but my first year in fact first week of a new Degree. I am so excited, so firstly last year I did a Bachelor of Criminology which was kinda boring but now I am completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Commerce) by correspondence, meaning I am free to study whenever I want wherever I want to.

So far:
For the first week I was dedicated and excited and ready to rush out and buy all the materials required and study for 24/7 until I need to start work at 7am.... might i add it was 2am when i remembered I was working later that morning.
So at 2am I was wondering should I keep studying and go to work later even though it was only 5 hours away I didn't need much sleep or should I go to sleep and wake up and go to work.

Well as my first week of dedication was strong i stayed up and completed all my notes on Business Law, excitement soon came to boredom as I realized all these notes were pretty much similar to the notes I finished for Legal Studies at High School.

The whist studying last week I realised how boring studying sometimes may be which then lead me a stray to Facebook and msn and websites that have no interest to me what so ever.

But I am now motivated to complete this degree and hopefully pass everything so I can start another degree.

I was wondering if any of the followers attend Uni or have and stories they would like to share about studying???

Early Days

Hi everybody it's only new days but i have officially started blogging.

I am looking forward to making posts at least 3 times a week and even more when I prioritise my time properly between work, uni and everyday life.

My posts will emphasis everyday life and everything evolved living my life. So let's get started!!!!!!

So what is so exciting to say about myself I'm really unsure and hate thinking about that question, So many times when you start a new activity or new school or anything new for starters it's the same old statement PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF.

Why is it so important to find out useless information about people who you may have nothing or little to do anything with ever again. But we go on and give little and useless information.

Hi my name is ........! which is clearly showed most of the time because we are told to wear a name badge or a sticker with our name on which is now half pealing off.
I am currently employed/student. Sometimes that is just the answer. I feel like i have to waste my time listening to the half scared person speaking just for a short and wide answer.

Then comes the interest part, with some answers going on and on becoming more of a life story then what their intrests are why can't people just lie and say one. lol

So after all of that here is my introduction information of myself which i hope is more interesting then all those boring situations you have ever been involved in.

My name is Ashlee.... I hate this name only for 1 reason know one ever spells it properly its either Ashley, Ashleigh e.t.c

I am currently a student and employed. I am currently studying commerce and one day hopefully be a lawyer and help the minority of screwed up society. I am also employed in one of the most regarding fields RETAIL. Which already i can see many blogs referring to work ethics and customer service arising.

My interests vary from day to day... Today my interests a sleeping, chatting on facebook and getting my uni notes done, but could you imagine that type of answer in a new group decision??? I do not. I am interested in media anything to do from gossip to world news. I am interested in travel but have not yet travel out of Australia. I am also interested in fashion something that i now love from working in one of Australia's leading fashion store.

I am also interested in blogging , make-up and music.

Anyways I hope all enjoy my blog and get involved from time to time.......
